Director's statement:

I grew up in a multicultural environment, this film was inevitable. I wanted to find people who connected with me because of some interesting cultural shock, like living in another country and learning a new language. That was not hard for me, living in Lisbon, Portugal and also living in Serbia and F.Y.R.O.M. (Former Yugoslav Republic Of Macedonia) during the production of this documentary, I contacted many foreigners and people that wanted to share their views on different aspects of language. The initial script was a little more humble than the final one because I had no idea that so many people would volunteer to help and share, so the idea of a short film, slowly, became a feature. During the test screenings across Europe I improved the narrative but more importantly, I understood the effect it has on people.
There was no bigger pleasure than to see the multicultural debate pass on to the real world, sometimes for hours, after the film was privately screened. I'm anxious to see the effect in the wide audience, when public screenings start through festivals and people are confronted with a movie that, is in fact, interactive.
